Meet the Laney Lu’s Team
Raised in Redwood Falls and in a family business has allowed Emily to use her business degree in management and marketing to the fullest. Following her parents lead, she continues the tradition of entrepreneurship at A&W Furniture and most recently Laney Lu’s Boutique (named after her daughter). Leading the team of 40 employees and operating a store with sales over $5 million annually, the task of continually marketing creatively, successfully and economically is an ongoing process she has grown with and embraced. Emily is a part of numerous nationally based committees within the furniture industry including “Next Generation Leaders” and the “Furniture First Buying Committee.” She and her husband Mike, collectively own and manage the retail store while raising their 2 children in Redwood Falls.
Named after the store’s founding owner, Megan Mary Revier is no stranger to retail environments. As an extended family relative of the A&W Furniture family, Megan too has grown up in the business. She is not only the “voice” of A&W Furniture and Laney Lu’s Boutique for radio voiceover promotions, she also considers herself a “hostess” within the store, ensuring every client feels welcomed, special and important. Megan travels the country on behalf of A&W Furniture acting as the primary home décor and boutique apparel buyer for the store. She’s responsible for merchandising and marketing the accessory department and ever growing boutique within the 100,000 square foot showroom along with conducting design seminars. Megan is married to her husband, Scott, and they raise their 3 children in Redwood Falls.
Hired for her creative talent, Stephanie’s artistic abilities allow A&W Furniture and Laney Lu’s Boutique to look its best on all social media outlets. With a degree in multimedia design, Stephanie is responsible for social media marketing posts, blogs, email blasts and more. Additionally, she works on the showroom floor merchandising imaginative displays, boutique vignettes, helping clients with unique projects and assists with the seasonal design seminars. With a witty sense of humor, Stephanie brings the store’s personality to life in an entertaining fashion on social media avenues. Stephanie lives in Redwood Falls with her husband Brian and daughter Elliott.
